Woofs Upon a Walk
At Woofs Upon a Walk, people often ask us what people food is good or bad for their dog, and the aim of this info graphic is to clear this issue up for them.
So without further ado, here’s our guide providing answers to the eternal question: Can my dog eat that?
· There are some meats that are better for your dog than others, but the most important thing to remember with pork is that it needs to be cooked thoroughly with the bones removed. Cooked bones can cause broken teeth and may even get stuck in your dog’s windpipe. If you’re giving your dog a bone on its own, ensure it is uncooked. This distinction is important.
· When it comes to fruit there are certain ones you should avoid, such as cherries, but the majority of fruits have many health benefits for your dog and can be a great addition to their diet.
· Vegetables are fine in the majority, but you need to remember that onion and garlic can be very bad for your dog.
