Toy breeds are more prone to injury and illness due to their size and inbreeding. They often have breathing, stomach, skin and bone and joint issues.

Although no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, there are non-shedding dogs that produce less dander, which is the true culprit in causing pet allergies for humans.
